President of HCNC Delivers a Speech
As to people of HCNC, undoubtedly 2004 should be one year of most challenging and sense of mission most.
In order to accelerate the technical ability type urgent cultivation which is short of talent, State Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance determine to adopt the way in which the central financial fund guides, promote regional vocational education practical training base construction. since 2004, rely on the existing professional universities and colleges, through the efforts of 3-5 years, a batch of national-level vocational education training bases will be built up all over the country. In the first batch, being capable of realizing sharable in area national demonstration numerical control technology training bases will be started. Ministry of Labor and Social Security as well as Ministry of Education intended to launch the first national numerical control technology competition in 2004. Also provincial numerical control technology competitions will be held all parts of the country. A most strategic and significant technical ability type personnel training project has already been started on the earth of China.
HCNC, as the only ¡®national numerical control system engineering research center¡¯ of the whole country and the biggest numerical control teaching equipment manufacturing enterprise of China, entrusted by Ministry of Education, undertook nationwide seminars and courses on training numerical control urgent short talents with combination involving production, teaching and research for three times, and bore the survey and study subject on demand for numerical control talents of China. Meanwhile, our company participated in formulation of scheme for national demonstrative numerical control technology training base construction and has finished a batch of construction national key vocational technology colleges numerical control technology training base. Also we participated in the organizing committee work of the first numerical control technical ability competition of the whole country and Hubei numerical control technical ability competition. The HCNC system, as being appointed and exclusive product for the first numerical control technical ability competition of the whole country, receives the extensive welcomes of regional government and schools.
Especially to our pleasure, in September of 2004, among 14 bid projects of the construction of educational practical training base our company won a bid of 10 projects, the total amount of money is up to more than 48 million Yuan.
We hope to more closely work hand in hand with the national universities, vocational technical schools, special secondary schools, technical schools sincerely, present the intelligence and strength for the grand talents training project commonly!

Brief Introduction of President of HCNC
Chen Jihong, born in 1965, doctor, professor, doctorial supervisor, at present director of national numerical control system engineering center, chairman of the board of directors of Huazhong numerical control Co.,LTD, branch¡¯s vice president of China Machine Tool Industry Association
During 1987-1989, he obtained the engineering master¡¯s degree of machine-building speciality in University of Science and Technology of the National Defense.
During 1989-1992, he got the doctorate in the machine building speciality in Huazhong University of Science and Technology. During 1993-1995, he worked in electronics and communication mobile station for post-doctors of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
In 1995, he undertook the international collaborative project in California Caitech company of U.S.A.
Mr. Chen obtained the scientific and technological progress second prize of the Committee of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense in 1993, won third-class military exploit in the University of Science and Technology of the National Defense in 1985, obtained 3 items of fourth prize of scientific and technological progress of the Committee of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense.
He was chosen as the ¡®outstanding entrepreneur¡¯ by Wuhan Economy and Trade Committee in 1999. He obtained ¡®2001 China¡¯s outstanding doctor¡¯s award¡¯ of National Personnel Department. At the same time, he was chosen as National 863 Program CIMS theme advanced worker. He was selected into country¡¯s projects of one hundred ten million talents in 2002, and was chosen as Wuhan subsidy expert. In 2003, he was selected into the talents spanning this century and next project of Hubei province.
Professor Chen Jihong is engaged in working in numerical control, accurate measurement, research, development and industrialization of CAD/CAM technology for a long time. His main research direction is networked, intelligent numerical control technology, measurement/modeling/integrated technology of processing and manufacturing equipment digitized technology. As the head of projects, he has finished ¡°high-performance numerical control systematic industrialization¡± of the high-tech industrialization demonstrative project of the State Planning Committee, the setting up project of ¡° national numerical control engineering research center¡±, 2 items of brainstorm projects of National the Ninth Five-year Plan, 2 items of National the Tenth Five-year Plan ¡°open numerical control systematic development and demonstrative application¡±, 3 items of National Natural Science Funds and National 863 Plan, an Innovative Fund project of small and medium enterprise of the State Ministry of Science and Technology, 2 items of technological innovation projects of the State Economic and Trade Committee, 4 items of scientific and technological projects of province and city and 2 items of international collaborative projects, etc.
He published 86 scientific papers at academic periodical and meeting at home and abroad, among them 16 theses are included by four overall searches, edited and published the teaching material ¡°Experimental Guide to Numerical Control Machine¡±. He guided 5 post-doctor, and instructed doctoral and master degree candidates each more than 10 persons. |
